Three aspects are vital for the Believers victorious walk in
the Body of Christ. A deep revelation of
Papa’s Love for me, that I am the righteousness of God in Jesus and a deep
revelation of God’s Favor to me by Jesus.
These aspects are also important in receiving or being a prayer vessel
for healing. Today, let’s discuss Papa God’s Love for me (us all).
A starting point is discussing what
should not be coming from the pulpit’s of our churches and in our everyday
lives.
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and
strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
Strivings about the law
this happens, everyday. What do we have
to maintain our relationship with Papa God?
Don’t sin is the most common response.
We constantly hear how we must obey God by not sinning. In fact the division amongst churches is
caused by dissension of the actions we must take to commune with Papa God. Our relationship should not be based on what
we do or don’t do, this is strivings about the law. Paul states this is unprofitable and vain, because
it’s based on our actions. Instead we should develop a relationship based on
the solid foundation of Papa God’s Love for me/us.
Ask yourself this question “What
does God think about me?”
If the answer is He loves
me because I preach His Word, He loves me because I pray for the sick; He loves
me because I attend church every Sunday; He Loves me because I feed the poor;
He Loves because I do my best to not sin.
All of these are His Love based upon my action/inaction and is the
law. We then need a deeper revelation of
His Love for me/us.
Here’s Paul:
Romans 2:3-4
King
James Version (KJV)
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such
things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and
longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Romans 2:19-23
King
James Version (KJV)
19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a
light of them which are in darkness,
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the
form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself?
thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou
commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law
dishonourest thou God?
Let’s be honest we’ve all
sinned, especially me…….lol. Paul is
saying that we the very one’s saying don’t sin, we have sinned, so how can we
go around and say do not sin? Instead we
should go around and preach on God’s goodness for us, that’s what changes
lives. We cannot do this until we know
that Papa loves us, period. His love isn’t
based on our actions (the Law), as a New Covenant people.
I have two suggestions 1)
Read: “Experiencing the Love Jesus Knew” by Vikki Waters 2) Meditate on
scripture that shows what Papa thinks about you and ask Papa what do you want
me to see, in this scripture. Here’s some good scripture for that (Vikki uses
these in her book and they are awesome)!
Jer. 31:3, John 3:16, John 17:23, John 16:27, Romans 8:39, Eph. 2:4-6,
Eph 3:19 and Psalms 139:17.
Here’s an example Jeremiah
31:3 “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee
with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee”.
Now, meditate on it what is
Papa saying to me? My answer is that He
loves me forever and he drew me to himself, because of His Love for me. He wants to show me kindness. When I draw on His Love for me, then I have
something to share with others.
My personal experience with Papa’s Love
for me started, the day I was healed. I felt it first in the vision of Jesus’
being whipped and then His crucifixation.
Then in the Peace and Joy of the Holy Spirit that came upon me, moments
before I was healed! Someone is thinking……”Well
good for you, but I haven’t had that experience” We all can experience it, by
meditating/pondering on His Love for me (you).
This is exactly what Paul meant when he stated keep your mind fixed on
the things above, not on the things of the earth. Seek a deep experience spend ten minutes a
day (for starters) doing this. Then a
craving to spend more time with Him will develop. While you ponder the scripture you choose,
allow for quiet time, for Papa, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to respond. During
the time following my healing, I somehow stumbled upon doing this (Holy Spirit
was guiding me). But Vikki’s book is an
awesome guide to truly experiencing God’s Love (I wish I would’ve had it when I
first started my journey).
