This post is
a direct response to a certain person, but many think this way, so it applies to all. He states" I feel that praying for anyone should come by the unction of
Christ's Holy Spirit with in you. He searches the hearts of all people who come
into contact with you at any time. He has Spiritual eye's to see whats
happening in other's around us. We cannot see the " thoughts, and intent's
" of another person. Like The Holy Spirit can, and when He begins to speak
in His Spirit language within your body. He is addressing God about the
situation a forehand. And if He addresses you to lay your hands on the sick.
They will recover, but if not, they will die. This faith is not ours but His as
vested in and through Christ Jesus. Many times prayer is made by human emotion,
rather Spiritual unction. And that's where prayer seems futile. The Holy Spirit
is given to you to lead you and guide you. But only under the Power associated
with God our Father. In Christ Jesus. Laying your hands on the sick to pray, is
Bible based. But its functionality is not scriptural y sound. Until you become
endowed with immediate instructions from God's Holy Spirit of Christ. Many
people fail to understand their position within Christ."
When it comes to laying hands on the sick, we are
already instructed what to do. Jesus
showed us in no uncertain terms that anyone that comes to Him seeking healing
will be healed. In fact, Jesus stated it
Himself. Luke
5:12-13
Authorized
(King James) Version (AKJV)
“12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man
full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell onhis face, and besought
him, saying, Lord, if thou
wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put forth hishand,
and touched him, saying, I
will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.”
God is no respecter of persons, he healed me,
he’ll heal anyone. In that scripture, the man knew that Jesus could heal him,
but just as today there was/is a question if it was His will. Notice Jesus’ response, I will! His response
is the same today. The Father does not
pick and choose who gets healed and who doesn’t. If that were the case, would
Peters’ shadow heal everyone Peter passed by? Or Pauls’ cloth? No, it wouldn’t. Now here’s a true example that it’s always
His Will. I was at a Bible study with
seven people, I received a word of knowledge for every person except one. She was under the same misguidance you have,
she refused to let me pray for her, because I had no word of knowledge for her. I simply told her to move the part of her
body that was afflicted. After some
hesitation, she did and was healed. I
don’t need a direct word from the Holy Spirit to pray for the sick, I already
have His direction to. Diseases are of
the devil, period. It is never God’s desire to see a child of His die pre-maturely. As is the case of Moses, He will take us home
when we have fully completed the purpose for which He made us. Then He doesn’t
do it by sickness or disease, or any other inhumane manner. Mis-information is one reason why people die,
pre-maturally. “My people die for lack
of knowledge” Jesus refused to heal only one person, but guess what, He healed
the woman’s daughter anyway. Any person
that came to Him was healed. Two people
that didn’t come to Him, were healed as well.
The man at the pool of Bethesda and the man that was born blind from
birth. Both were healed.
Praying for the sick, even when Jesus prayed for Lazarus to come
forth. He said, this sickness is not unto death, but to the Glory of God. So
when you pray, its not of your choosing whether you should pray. The Holy
Spirit has set the bar for that operation in Christ. And when you seek God it
has to be through Christ's Holy Spirit. Otherwise you will fail and everything
will still be lost. Many people have the wrong concept of what prayer is.
They think, when they think to pray for something. That its the Holy Ghost
calling them to pray. But in many cases, its habitual. Its mainly by habit and
of human emotion. But when you feel the aura of God in Christ working within
you with power to pray, then you will see great anointed results, from on high
Many people have no understanding of why Jesus
said “but to the Glory of God”. They
take it to mean that God caused this death, for His Glory, so not true. I won’t fully explain it here but do some
study and you’ll find the truth out. Here’s a short version:
Healing was part of the Old Covenant, rabbis
prayed for the sick and they were healed except for 4 things Leprosy, the deaf
and dumb, blind and raising the dead.
Ask a Jew, they’ll tell you, that the Messiah will perform these 4
miracles. Anytime a person got on the
Pharisees radar, they sent out a group to watch, then to scrutinize their
teaching and then to confirm if these four miracles had happened. This is why in each of these four miracles
the healed person was sent to the Pharisees to be examined and questioned. They had never been done before. In the case of Lazarus, Jesus had already
performed three of the miracles and Lazurus was to be the final miracle, thus
proving Jesus to be the Messiah. That is
why the Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to kill Lazuras after his being raised
from the dead. Lazarus’ miracle was for
God’s Glory, because it proved that Jesus was the Messiah. Do some research and you’ll find this is the
truth. Prayer is communion with The
Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, not just asking, asking and more asking. It is a
true union with all Three Persons’ of the Godhead. When we have a true union with Them, then we
know the truth. It starts with a deep revelation
of The Fathers’ Love for us. Then we
know that He only wants good for us. We are to dwell in His Love for us. 1John
4:15-17 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God
dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and
believed the love that God hath to us. God is
love; and he that dwelleth
in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world.
The two biggest reasons people don’t get healed,
is mis-information. The other is living
in a mixture of the Old and New Covenants, which causes them to fall from God’s
Favor which we have through Jesus. Once the Holy Spirit leads us to how they’ve
fallen from His Favor/Grace, then they are healed. Once again it goes back to mis-information. Galatians
5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are
justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace/FAVOR.
It isn’t sin that blocks a healing, it is
thinking that we need to do something to receive it, such as get more faith, or
repeat a scripture a hundred times, or to be perfect. Or ask someone to pray for us that thinks God
chooses who’s going to be healed. He’s always willing to heal. Now, bring up
the Book of Job, that proves God “allows” sickness, murder etc…. I’ve got a
post for that also.
