Spiritual Warfare (binding spiritual powers)

In my last post, I gave a warning about binding satan and principalities and powers.  I’m now better prepared to walk through, my limited understanding on this. It all started while I first started praying for the sick.  Holy Spirit was healing people all around my area, but in Middlesboro, KY I would pray for the sick and pray for the deliverance of individuals in that area. For approximately a year no one was healed or delivered, I started taking people outside the city limits, then they were healed and delivered. It made no sense to me.  I started learning about spiritual principalities and powers and along with other spiritual leaders concluded that it was jezebel and the spirit of religion.  My wife, myself and others started binding these principalities including satan.  Suddenly, bad things started to happen. I was rammed into by a car, there was a ditch between myself and where the car was coming from, yet somehow he hit my car. The authorities concluded that I had pulled out in front of him. And ascertained that where I said I was at, when he hit me, wasn’t the truth.  My wife on several occasions felt like someone was choking her and she couldn’t breath. The list goes on and on.  Then one day we were in the parking lot of a church, we had just bound jezebel and my wife was spiritually attacked again. She couldn’t breath.  I declared against it, the attacked stopped.  We started to put it all together and concluded that this isn’t the way to conduct spiritual warfare.

Now, follow me as I make scriptural sense of this. First, while on  the earth as a man, Jesus never bound  satan, principalities or powers, there are zero accounts of this, nor did He instructs His disciples to do so. He did say “get thee behind me satan”, but that was as far as it went. Now, as near as I can tell there are three heavens stated in the scriptures.

Genesis 1:7

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. Genesis 1:8

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
So if there is a first heaven and a third heaven, then there’s a second heaven. Which most theologians agree that is where the spiritual principalities and powers dwell.
The devil is also called the prince of the air, which is implied to be the first and second heavens.

Psalm 115:16

Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.

In this psalm we In Christ have spiritual authority on the earth, which the lower demons inhabit as well, so we are able to use our authority against them.  But the heavens are the Lord’s heavens, this is where the spiritual powers and principalities dwell.  There is a chain of command among the powers of darkness, as well as regional boundaries.  See Matthew 8.
Read the entire chapter of Job 41 and  even 40 and then one can see the spiritual connotations within it.  Understand the spiritual implications within this chapter.  Leviathan on a physical level is a crocodile, but spiritually represents satan, principalities and powers  (my opinion)
Job 41
8) Lay thine hand upon him,
remember the battle, do no more.
Read the whole chapter of Isaiah 27, once again this implies that principality and powers are the Lord’s.

Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword
shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent,
even leviathan that crooked serpent;
and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
So when we are binding above our authority, we are no longer protected by Christ, because we have directly gone outside of our authority and against God’s Will.  I have tried to condense a huge study into a smaller package.  It may also seem to be stretching scripture a bit, but keep reading and the solution should make sense and it also works! Also, read John Paul Jackson book Needless Casualities of War. I still haven’t read it, but I know that he does use the same versus and have had similar experiences as I have. In fact, I believe I’m going to read it today.
Staying within our spiritual authority
Ok, so how do we remove principality and powers, from out of a certain region?  The Lord inhabits our praise and worship, so extreme praise and worship of The Father and Jesus displaces principalities and powers.  Also, declaring and releasing Blessings upon the area also displaces them. As well as coming together as a body of Christ and asking Jesus to remove them.  A wonderful example of this is Manchester, KY (renamed City of Hope), was a drug infested city infested with the spirit of addiction, they came together as a spiritual community and cried out to God.  This was around 2006 and now today what was a dying town is recovering. My area started doing this in 2012 called “Standing in the Gap” and are seeing positive results as well.  Research this out and you will find that this 100 mile area was determined to be one of the worse in our nation with drug connected crimes and corruption. It is changing.
Also, I can now report within 6 months, the sick are getting healed and more and more people are being delivered, saved and set free.  I now no longer hestitate to pray for the sick in my area. In fact, recently the Holy Spirit has healed and delivered every person I’ve prayed for. Glory to God!! And others have reported more and more people being healed, Praise God.  This is what I’ve learned so far, on this topic.  Praise, Worship and Prayer is always the answer, but it must be done within the authority that The Father and Jesus has given us!

Binding Disease/casting out devils

There has always been a contention on Matthew 16:19, and I’m about to add to it.  It is important especially when praying for the sick. Through the Holy Spirit we have the power to heal the sick and cast out devils.  Yet, many use this verse incorrectly, because of the way most Bible translations have it.  Common sense and the Lord’s Prayer should be enough to convince people, yet it isn’t. Here is the KJV:
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

So I am to believe that here on earth I bind disease, then disease is bound in heaven?  There is no disease in God’s Presence. Or that when I loose blessings, that blessings are then loosed in Heaven? This does not even make sense and that should be enough to convince anyone, but it isn’t. In fact, I’ve heard it said that our words have such power that what we say affects the atmosphere in Heaven (ie..we can loose diseases to Heaven!!) so very wrong! Here is the Amplified and correct translation.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

If the King James version is correct, then the very prayer Jesus taught is in direct contradiction to this verse and there is no denying that. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:910 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
So which is it, either The Lord’s Prayer is wrong, which is heresy or the common translation of this verse is incorrect.  There are some that will say that this verse has nothing to do with loosing healing/blessings or binding demons. They will contend that it has to do with who can enter Heaven. Judgment is left to Jesus, not to His disciples, so that point is completely mute! When we are binding/loosing it is from Heaven to earth. It is Heaven impacting earth and God’s Will, being done in earth.  Jesus even made that point in these next two verses!
and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

Our Father in Heaven is a Spirit, He spoke the physical world into existence. All things were created or spoken from the spiritual world first, by God’s spoken Word, then it manifested in the physical world. So how can anything be spoken from earth to Heaven and it be manifest in Heaven? Heaven is where everything originated from, so it is not possible!

In conclusion, we as Jesus’ Followers must speak in harmony with what The Father is speaking and His Will.  Therefore when loosing/binding, it has to come from what is already loosed(lawful) in Heaven (healings, all spiritual blessings, God’s Promises) or what is already bound (unlawful) in heaven (curses, demons, diseases, death and all impure things).  One last point, we weren’t given the authority to bind satan or principalities and powers, that is reserved for Jesus.  To do so leaves us unprotected from spiritual attacks, because we are no longer hidden In Christ.  We can ask Our Father to remove principalities and powers, but to do so ourselves is detrimental. We have gone against God’s Will in doing so.  We do have the authority to cast out demons.  Mark 16:17-18 shows us what we are to be doing, as does Acts 10:38, as does Matthew 10:1,8. Nowhere does Jesus show us to bind the devil himself, principalities and powers.  The leader of evil is not the one personally attacking us it is those under his authority, the demons.

My learnt experience on Healing

This  post is for those who believe in healing and that God does heal today, but not expecting to be healed/aren’t healed, yet.  My testimony starts in 2006, as an atheist, I was undergoing two symptoms which I ignored; being extremely tired and a complete lack of appetite.  In 2008 I moved to Virginia, this is when physically things started to get bad. My symptoms were: Extreme back pain, problems with weakness in my legs and arms.  The symptoms continued to progress as I went from a cane, to a walker to the wheelchair in 2010.  In 2011, I was diagnosed with a provisional diagnosis of ALS.  The diagnosis was later changed to an unknown neurological disorder, by a different neurologist.  My symptoms spiraled downhill quickly, by July 4th 2012, my symptoms effected my entire body a massive 24/7 headache, difficulty swallowing, slurred speech, couldn’t eat my stomach was completely paralyzed, lungs were weak, severe emphysema, severe back problems, fingers withered into a fist, unable to lift my arms, legs, bowels, bladder all completely paralyzed.  I had home health care: a nurse, speech and swallowing therapist and a physical therapist.  It had been six months since I had eaten a solid meal.  July 4th 2012 is when Our Gracious Lord and Savior healed me, at around 2:00 pm.
That is my testimony, but through my healing Jesus has showed me a number of things I want to share.  They are about faith, Grace and expectation.
My spiritual condition December 23rd 2010, I accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  I was baptized in the wheelchair April 23, 2011 and married to my wife on March 12, 2011.  Now, I had not read the Bible as an adult, so my mind wasn’t renewed, but I had faith that Jesus would heal me.  So much faith that when in April 2011, the doctor gave me the diagnoses of ALS; I told her that Jesus would heal me, and the two social workers (that were telling my wife I needed to be in a nursing home) and two nurses.  I one hundred percent believed what I said; Jesus stated that in Matthew 17:20 “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain Remove hence to yonder place and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” This was in direct reference to healing. My point here is that it only takes an extremely small amount of faith to be healed and I had it!  It takes more faith to believe in salvation than it does for healing……….why? Because the manifestation of salvation doesn’t happen until a bodily death!  Healing (in most cases happens while we are alive and we see it’s physical manifestation).  Jesus was actually saying look guys, it doesn’t take that much faith, you’ve already got it!  There are millions of people that have had the faith to be healed, yet aren’t.  We all know someone that died, that had enough faith to be healed and I could have easily been one of them.  Yet, in spite of Jesus statement that it takes a small amount of faith, we continually point at that person and think that they lack faith, wrong, wrong, wrong and in most cases wrong!  In fact, while I was in the wheelchair, the pastor of my church stated that when someone doesn’t get healed: it’s their lack of faith………this was about a week before my healing!  People that haven’t accepted Jesus, have enough faith to be healed, I’ve seen it!  So if someone states I believe God heals,  they have enough faith, so quit trying to get something you’ve already got!! Can we build upon our faith; yes it is a process and with each step we do progress towards more faith, but faith as far as healing is concerned most of us have it.  So take my word on it, I had the faith to be healed, but wasn’t for a year and a half. In all honesty, the morning of my healing, I can honestly say I didn’t have the faith, yet I was healed.  Two weeks earlier I had tried to commit suicide by running my wheelchair into traffic.  So can I state that it was my “great faith” that got me healed, absolutely not.  I still believed God could heal me, but had lost the belief that He would.

GOD’s Grace is enough. When it comes to salvation, what do we have to do to earn it?  We can do nothing to earn salvation, except confess with our mouth that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and took the punishment for our sins and believe it in our heart.  That’s it, salvation is a free gift that Jesus earned for us.  How many of us, would state that in order to be saved, we have to recite John 3:16 everyday, ten times a day until we feel we’re saved?  Listen to a salvation cd everyday for ten years, until we earn our salvation?  Do we earn salvation? No!!!  Yet, that is exactly what we do with healing.  Healing is the same as salvation it is a Gift, we can do absolutely nothing to earn it.  When do we receive Salvation, when we confess with our mouths! Does it matter that yesterday; I was cussing like a sailor? No, because when I repent of my sins and confess with my mouth and believe in my heart; I receive.
God is so merciful that when conditions are met, we receive forgiveness and salvation.  Healing isn’t based on our actions; the condition for healing isn’t based upon what I did two minutes ago.  News flash, when I was healed my mind wasn’t renewed, I wasn’t thinking like a Saint.  I was thinking like a sinner, with a very evil mind.  I was still listening to satanic music, watching movies, which magnified the devil.  From an exterior viewpoint I wasn’t actively doing sin, because I was paralyzed, but my thoughts were anything but pure.  My point is this; God’s Grace to us is Jesus.  Just as salvation isn’t based on our action, neither is healing.  No matter the condition of our soul, Jesus will heal; it’s the same process; confess, believe and accept.  Ok, so at the time I confessed to the doctor and others that Jesus would heal me, I believed it, why didn’t I receive it, at that moment?  1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should glory in his presence.
Galatians 5:4
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Here’s what happened when I confessed healing, it was with a mindset, that my faith was the reason I would be healed! In other words I could have stated it was my faith that healed me. It’s Christ that heals, not the fleshy mind. I would have taken the Glory away from Christ, and given it to my body/mind!
The law is based upon our actions, not on Christ. So unwittingly I based my healing on my action, so God’s Grace/Favor (Jesus action) was made inactive.  The same way as if I recited healing scripture, thinking in doing that action, my healing would manifest!
In contrast, if I recite healing scripture to increase my expectation of healing, then it becomes effective and is no longer based on my action! This leads me to the final key point. Expectation! Hope is confident expectation. If my hope is in the Lord for healing, then I am confidently expecting my healing to manifest.  No longer is it anything I do, but it is all Jesus!  My faith activates my confident expectation, and then through Holy Spirit my healing manifests physically!  So here is what happened in my healing. I was sitting in my living room, I was feeling sorry for myself.  Then the thought (Holy Spirit) entered my mind that Jesus went through so much more than I was going through. I had a vision of Christ’s scourging and crucifixion (it was as if I had been there). After a year of not seeking healing anymore, suddenly my confident expectation increased (this was all a matter of seconds).  I started saying Jesus loves me (3x) Back Pain be gone (3x) In Jesus Name (3) I then moved at the waist, it took me a second to realize the pain was gone! So I had confessed, believed/expected, and received. Now all unbelief was gone and full of only one thing confident expectation, that Jesus would heal me! No doubt, no second guessing only expectation.  I just did the same thing with my fingers, they moved!  Then unwittingly I wheeled my way to the entrance of the bedroom, showed my wife (confessing healing), told her Jesus willing I would be back this time walking (expectation).  This time it was just the declaring legs move in Jesus Name they moved, then gratitude Thank You Jesus, which I had been doing this whole time as well.  Then it was; Jesus don’t let me fall and I stood up and walked.  As for the rest of my symptoms they just started disappearing, my arms starting moving, then that evening when a friend said can you eat, as soon as she said that I got hungry for the first time in six years!  Confess (speak it), expect it (believe), movement (receive).
It all works together and really happens without conscious thought, it isn’t ok step one confess it, step two do this nooooo. It is if I am confidently expecting it, I speak it aloud, then I’m declaring it, the end result is doing something I couldn’t do before, because I’m expecting Jesus to heal.

It isn’t a formula, it’s Jesus! Everyone arrives to confident expectation, in a different manner.  The truth is this when you expect Jesus to heal He does! As I’m speaking now your expectation is increasing so thank Jesus, expect and move/recognize your healing and then Praise Him more!!
Seek an intimate relationship with Jesus, a relationship increases, both Faith and Hope.  Jesus’ Love for us is key and we know His Love through intimacy and then we Love Him back more. With an intimate relationship, we know He wants to heal us.

The Power to Change!

I along with many others have a concern for an over exuberant Gospel of Grace.  My concern doesn’t lie in the message of God’s Favor we have in Christ, in which we live in supernatural health and prosperity (although some preach it in a selfish way).  God’s Grace/Favor is so overflowing, He so abundantly distributes it, but my concern is in the way some imply that change can take a lifetime and that’s fine.  So if I have an alcohol problem and I continue to hang out in bars (and get drunk), but I preach Jesus, while drinking, then that’s fine.  Then I’m being a witness of God’s Glory.  That isn’t God’s Favor!  Being in God’s Favor is the power to change and not continue along in sinful acts.  1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 15:10-12
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

1 Corinthians 5:11

Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of [Christian] brother if he is known to be guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater [whose soul is devoted to any object that usurps the place of God], or is a person with a foul tongue [railing, abusing, reviling, slandering], or is a drunkard or a swindler or a robber. [No] you must not so much as eat with such a person.
[Live] as free people, [yet] without employing your freedom as a pretext for wickedness; but [live at all times] as servants of God.

“If he is known”, in other words we don’t use this to look for sin in a persons life or to judge the end result of their life.  It is a process and we should not look to judge a person.  But if it is evident that one who calls himself/herself a Christian yet is living in sin, then they are not under God’s Grace. Living in sin is practicing sin continually; it isn’t an error, mistake or lack of good judgment.  It comes down to either sincerity or using the freedom in Christ as a cloak for wickedness.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
So first we seek God’s Kingdom, what does God’s Kingdom on earth look like? Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  It’s all His Righteousness, His Peace and His Joy; and it’s all a free gift, it’s there in the Holy Spirit given just by seeking.
and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
It’s all there for the seeking, but we have to seek it! God’s Favor in Christ is God’s Power to change us, if we are truly under His Favor we will change and effortlessly.  I went from being a liar, drunk, drug addict, addicted to sex, a brawler, a complainer etc… to truly knowing the Love of God and the change was immediate and absolutely nothing that I did!!  It is a process and I’m still changing to this day.  If there is no change or if I’m still trying to change myself, then I’m not under Grace.  God’s Favor is the power to change and I am not under condemnation, guilt, human tradition or judgement, it is true freedom from the bondage of sin.

Truth or Counterfeit

Our Heavenly Father always does the unexpected things, uses the people, that very few would think that He would use. Jesus also like the Father, did and said the unexpected.  When it comes to The Father and Jesus, on some level most would agree to this statement, yet when it comes down to it the majority of people miss The Father as they missed the Son.

John 6:66

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Mark 15:8-15

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them. But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? 10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. 11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. 12 And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews? 13 And they cried out again, Crucify him. 14 Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. 15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
The majority of people get deceived, time and time again!
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Notice that the evil men and seducers are themselves being deceived. That is one way they are so convincing is that they believe what they teach.  Now, the majority of the time when a person starts like I started they start using a lot of Old Testament Scriptures and rant and rave about sin and use the scripture about our righteousness is like dirty rags and state there is none righteous no not one. Without using it in context with the verse that follows.Romans 3:21 “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference”.
So my point isn’t to tell you what to believe, but to teach how to perceive how we know the truth.  One way is the LOVE of God, this is supernatural Love, not human love.  That isn’t to say the person will be perfect and to judge by critically looking for sin, look for true Agape Love, Love without conditions and restrictions. Along with this there must be supernatural signs, wonders and miracles following. These two things must co-exist in order for a line of teaching to be correct.  Let’s focus on the signs, wonders and miracles. Here’s what Jesus had to say:

John 14:11-14
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Mark 16:17-19

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Just so nobody starts another snake salvation show, verse 18 “they shall take up serpents” it’s meaning is actually to cast off and the example would be when the serpent latched onto Paul’s hand, he cast it off into the fire and it did no harm to him. The same if they drink any deadly thing, it isn’t talking about purposefully drinking poison.  Love doesn’t boast, handling snakes and drinking poison on purpose is a form of boasting and glorying in the flesh. Paul’s reaction wasn’t boastful, he simply went about his business, while the others were waiting for him to die.
This is how we keep from being deceived the Love of God and signs, wonders and miracles, walking hand in hand is our surest means to discern between fact or deceit.  The true Gospel was never preached without signs, wonders and miracles; or without the Love of God.  Now, there are some who teach that in John 14, Jesus isn’t talking about the physical healing miracle, that isn’t true, look at it again: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
Jesus was straight to the point, look at the works’ performed and then look at the works’ done in my Name and my disciples will do the same and more.  Jesus is the same yesterday, today and always: He never changed the criteria Matthew 16:17-20 still applies, Mark 14 still applies.  John 13:3 and Luke 6:35, they all still apply.
A true leader In the Body of Christ is a servant, has the Love of God in him, and we see the works of Jesus through the person.  John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
A great speaker isn’t the sign Jesus told us to look for in His Disciples.  Delivering great sermons isn’t the sign.  The seven keys to living a sin-free life isn’t how we will know a true disciple of Christ. A true leader, has all of Heaven’s Authority backing him, when he preaches the Gospel, lives are changed.  The rest is just fluff.  Here’s another way, when the leader speaks, what are you thinking? If you’re thoughts are on the speaker, the person is just a good speaker. If your thoughts turn to Jesus, then that person is pointing to Jesus and is truly speaking from Holy Spirit.
A true disciple of Jesus lifts up others, to a point where they are operating using the gifts of Holy Spirit.  A true leader leads others into experiencing the Love of God and into a personal relationship with Holy Spirit.  So when seeking Jesus, look for the signs, wonders and miracles; but don’t validate them based only on those works, they must be combined with the supernatural Love of God. There are counterfeit signs, wonders and miracles; Jesus did state that many will come to Him and say Lord, Lord I have done miracles in your Name and Jesus will tell them I never knew you……..why? Because it is the Love of God with the miracles that validates……. everything else is counterfeit.

God's Love and Mercy...awesome!!

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God”
I watched my appearance as a guest on the show “healing miracles”, last night. It was very enlightening,  it is so revealing, that even when I didn’t acknowledge Jesus, He acknowledged and protected me.  As Believers, we zone in on God’s Judgment and Wrath, yet many of us do not think on His Loving Kindness.  Yet we miss out, because without true understanding of His personal love for us, we will never reach our potential as His Saints.  In Ephesians Paul shows us how to have the fullness of God in our life, and that is to know beyond knowledge Christ’s Love.  Many people read this and instantly think it’s about showing others brotherly love, it isn’t. We must first intimately know His Love for us, or all we’ve got to share is unstable human love.  Human Love points to the negative,  wants judgment and punishment to correct those who are not living “right”.  The Pharisees couldn’t wait, to point a finger, accuse and then punish.  Jesus couldn’t wait to show love and mercy.  Human love starts with “Brother I’m saying this out of love”.  The Love of Jesus, points out who I am In Christ.
I am so fortunate, to be Loved by a wonderfully loving Lord and Savior.  Who isn’t there waiting to strike me down, the moment I fail.  One verse that is so very mis-interpreted is this John 16:10 “Of righteousness, because I go to My Father and ye see me no more.” In other words Holy Spirit convinces us that we are the righteousness of God, because Jesus finished the job. The verse before” of sin, because they believe not on me;” Holy Spirit convinces us that we are sinners, so we are led to Jesus. Then He starts convincing us of our righteousness in Christ! The voice that tells you that you’re a sinner barely saved by Grace is the wrong voice. Holy Spirit draws you to Jesus, then convicts you of being the righteousness of God.  Many of you will disagree with this, Holy Spirit is the Comforter; not the accuser.  Look at how Jesus treats Peter on their first meeting after Jesus was resurrected.

One who’s had a deeper understanding of His Love, and is secure In His Love, goes out and shares that Love. After my healing and to this day, my compassion is on what I can share with others, not what I can receive.  When I meet others that hate me, I can love and honor them, in spite of their actions and feel no need to defend myself.

Wellness and Praying

A huge part of accessing the abundant Blessings and Gifts of the Lord, is what is in our heart and what we speak.  We are told time again, that what and how we speak directly control the atmosphere around us and in our bodies.  There are many verses about the tongue/words we speak and the heart/inner man ( our spirit).  It is so huge!  Take a moment to read these verses slowly and really ponder them!
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
A merry heart doeth good like/same as a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

So how do we tell, what the condition of our heart is? Listen to your speech, are you speaking life/health or death/sickness? When your with your friends or in casual mode, what are you saying, your words are a direct method of assessing your heart condition and even what you think about regularly. This directly influences the wellness of your body.  A renewed mind has as Paul states Colossians 3:2

Amplified Bible (AMP)
And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
Meditate means to ponder, now since we are New Covenant it is the Law of Love, which we should ponder on. The Love of God to us in Jesus.
I always ask Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts and my speech, that it is acceptable to The Lord.  What we think about is where our mind will lead us.  Also, note we are tempted with what we think.  If we set our mind on the things above then the devil doesn’t have anything to tempt us with. This is why Paul states that there is another law warring in his body, the law of sin and death, which takes advantage of the Law. Because if we think about not sinning, then we will sin, cause that’s what we’re thinking about! Same thing with sickness if we’re constantly thinking about our physical condition, then it will get worse!  So ponder healing scriptures, then our body will go that way.  It also sets our heart to be assured of healing, it decreases unbelief.
All of this ties into what we hear, see, think; commercials are death sentences, we hear them all the time, what we hear constantly becomes a heart belief. What is in most if not all commercials? Masked fear! Take this test such a percentage of men develop blah, blah, blah. Take this medicine, then is the long list of warnings.  Most television shows are just as bad. We must guard our hearts with all diligence, in other words, we must pay attention to what is going into our ears and what our eyes see. All of this is renewing our minds to align with God’s Will. It is His Will for all to be healthy! These things are steps to aligning ourselves to His Thoughts, and then we will be closer to being healthy. Think about this scripture “a double minded man shall expect to receive nothing”. So if our thoughts are on our symptoms, yet we’re praying for a healing……..what is that? Being double-minded.  You might ask or say look mister, I’m in severe pain, how can I not think about it? Good question here’s how not to be double-minded:: “The fact is I am in severe pain, but the truth is by HIS Wounds/Stripes I am healed.”  Now, healing is a gift and our healing isn’t based on our actions, what this does is sink down into the heart and decreases unbelief. You’re changing your heart beliefs, not doing it to earn a healing……big, huge difference. It is not, reciting healing scriptures 100 times everyday for a month, then because of my action, I’ll be healed. It is redefining your heart beliefs and coming into alignment with God’s Will! Also, it is Jesus that changes us, so always ask Holy Spirit to change you, He will. All this sounds like a lot of effort, but when His Holy Spirit is involved and we yield ourselves to Him and ask Him to renew our mind, it does happen effortlessly! Then we just fall more in Love with Him! It all comes down to Trusting Jesus, first for healing, then for continuous health.
Let’s talk a bit about praying for healing, whether for yourself or someone else. Praying for healing isn’t begging God to heal you “O God please heal me”, “please God take this cancer away”, “Please God heal my aunt”.  These are prayers that are illegitimate and full of unbelief. Why? Because Jesus earned healing for us and He’s already answered the question if it’s His Will for you to be healed. The answer is yes it is.  Luke 5:12-13, I’ve covered this before, so I won’t go into detail. That along with Mark 16:17-18 and many more scripture.
Now moving along, we’ve been given the authority and power by Jesus and His Holy Spirit to heal, so we don’t have to ask.  We use our authority In Christ to command and expect healing.  Matthew 16:19
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”
We speak from heaven to earth. Cancer is unlawful in heaven, therefore I am declaring it unlawful on earth. So, I’m binding the evil and then loosing health, healing and Blessings. In Christ we have both earthly and spiritual authority. All spiritual authority was removed from satan, but he uses man’s earthly authority to proceed with his evils.  He and all demons have to work through mankind.  Thereby using our spiritual authority in Christ, (outloud) we are legally tossing his work to the wind.  This is why the accuser/deciever has most of the world convinced that 1) God “allows it” 2)God is doing it to teach us 3)It is a “normal” part of life 4)the authority was only for the original Apostles : all of these are lies……..period!!
Just as in the Garden, satan still twists the truth and deceives us.
So speaking outloud and knowing my authority In Jesus, with the dunimus power of His Holy Spirit, I command the sickness/disease to leave and it must/has to/ain’t gotta  choice
Prayers do not need to be long drawn out, extravagant, the longer the prayer the less you are speaking from the authority of Jesus and unbelief will enter the picture. “Cancer Leave Now” is enough. Jesus prayers were always short “Pick up your mat and go”, Peter’s prayer was simply to say Silver and Gold I have none, but what I do have I give to you” Then I always thank the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It really isn’t the words it’s His Presence, that heals.
Here’s a guideline but it’s a very loose guideline: Always listen for Holy Spirit’s Guidance He is the ultimate Healer, so listen to Him
1)  I acknowledge His Presence and Thank Him in advance
2)  Ask the level of pain or symptoms (if Holy Spirit hadn’t already given me a word of knowledge)
3)  Speak to the body part/disease tell it to be healed/disease to leave
4)  Have them test the body part and ask for the pain level,
5)  Praise and Worship Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit; giving them thanks!
I always encourage them to get medical confirmation, have them continue their medication unless a doctor takes them off, always tell them to interrupt if they feel electricity, heat, cold all great signs and use those signs to increase expectation. My actual goal is to not even have to pray for them or lay hands on them. Many times they are healed before prayer. Really the only thing we’re doing is releasing Holy Spirit to do what He is really good at doing. The less we’re involved the better. Healing is a Gift and Holy Spirit wants to heal, we’re just a vessel to give the gift away.  If you’re praying for yourself, command it to leave and expect Holy Spirit to heal. Look for the healing, not the symptom.
What is occurring when there is a healing is heaven impacting earth. We need to let Holy Spirit set the atmosphere around us His Peace, Joy and Righteousness Romans 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
So heaven on earth is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  The person you are praying for is likely fearful, let Holy Spirit change the atmosphere, acknowledge His Presence. The person has a need, you have the answer inside of you!  So when praying for the sick, be confident! He does all the work.

Side note on April 3rd and 10th, I'm appearing on the tv show "Healing Miracles" on the World Harvest television (WHT). The show airs at 12 am so set your DVR. I pray it will be a blessing to you!
