Get Personal with Our Father!

Most of us have an impersonal view of Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.  Take a moment what picture comes to mind, when you think of each Person of the GodHead?  For myself, at one time the only one I could picture was Jesus.  The scriptures show us That each Person of the GodHead wants a personal relationship with us.  The way I live today is dwelling or being cocooned in Their Love for me, so a mental picture is vital for me.  One might say, no one has seen Father so that’s impossible, wrong! Revelation 4:2-3 Gives us a glimpse of Father God.” And He that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”  Imagine that Jasper can be red, brown, yellow and green (spotted) and sardine stone is usually red.  Apostle John refers to He that sat, so I do imagine a male image with such a brilliance.  Then we have Holy Spirit, who has many descriptions Fire, Water, Oil, Dove and then Jesus, who many of us have an image of.  Many people will use scripture to say the human imagination is evil.  But we were given our imaginations by Father for a reason and Holy Spirit inspired the writers of scripture to be descriptive.  So if it lines up with scripture then it is a good use of imagination and will draw us closer to each Person of The GodHead!
Now I really believe that I shouldn’t have to prove that all three Persons wish to have a personal relationship with us, but I will.  The Word became flesh and dwelt among us! Now if that isn’t wanting a personal relationship then I don’t know what would prove it.  Father God called Moses a friend, Jesus and Moses talked at the Mount of Transformation. And Holy Spirit is called our teacher, comforter and all that we need.  A teacher and comforter itself implies a personal relationship.

So all that’s left is to have a personal relationship, now with me I communicate the most with Holy Spirit as I would with any friend.  I thank Him, I ask Him what color of shirt I should wear, how should I handle a certain situation any and everything.  He answers through mental pictures, thoughts, my being at peace or my peace being removed, even by sudden tears or laughter.  One could say I’m crazy, but I say we have Holy Spirit inside of us for a reason, we being now in the Kingdom of Light are rewired to be able to sense Him, when we seek and acknowledge His Presence.  When I pray (speak with) each Person of the GodHead, using my imagination I picture them as I stated earlier, I’m not just throwing words into the air, I am speaking directly to them.  Don’t knock it, till you try it!

Jesus says "I will Be Healed"!!

would like to offer a few suggestions about healing. The worst question to ask is why, avoid that question. The best question to ask is:: Father what is it you want to be for me during this time? Listen to what Holy Spirit tells you. Also, do not try to set things up the way someone else got healed, we are all different and will be healed differently. Once again I advise asking Holy Spirit, about everything and expect an answer. Thirdly, and most importantly realize it is not anything we do or don't do that brings the healing about. Our actions do not bring healing, now testing the area that is affected doesn't bring the healing, it confirms it. I say our actions do not bring a healing, because we can easily put ourselves under the Law. If I think that reciting healing verses everyday will bring the healing, then I'm basing that on my actions, if I do this I'll be healed. Reciting healing verses is a good thing and will affect heart beliefs, so I didn't use that example to put that down. It is a very good thing to do. I encourage it, use the verses to increase your expectation and your trust in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should glory in his presence."

If I were healed at the beginning of my disease, I could've said it was my "great" faith, because I told the doctors, social workers etc..that Jesus would heal me. Once again, not putting that down, I recommend boasting in the Lord! The way my healing happened I cannot state that my actions, brought about my healing. It wasn't what I did, but what Jesus did!  Healing is a free gift to us that Father God already provided, for us.  It would surprise many of you to know that healing was provided for in the Old Covenant.  Jesus wasn’t the first to heal people, but there were four things that only the Messiah could do.  Heal Leprosy, cast out the deaf mute spirit, open blind eyes and raise the dead.  Under the New Covenant (which holds a better promise), there are no limits. Healing is a gift, but we look to an action of ours to get it.  If I were to offer a birthday present what happens?  The person comes up and takes it, the present was already in my hands, all they had to do was grab it.  Jesus is standing in front of you with this gift, all we have to do is say Thank You and grab it.  With a birthday gift, do you say hold on a moment I have to search for more faith: Excuse me I have to go pay for it first…..or I’m sorry but I lied yesterday so I’m not worthy to get my birthday present……..Of Course not!! You just smile say Thank you and take it.  Yes it is that easy!!!

If you need a healing right now, just say what you need. “Pain stop, In Jesus Name”  now you’ve received you’re healing, Thank the giver……..Thank You Father God………Thank You Jesus……..Thank You Holy Spirit……… now all you have to do is unwrap the gift…………just test the area out. If it’s your leg, move it, expect the pain to be gone, just like when you unwrap a gift, you know there’s something nice under the wrapping paper, you know that a friend wouldn’t give something that would cause pain, so expect your nice, beautiful, wonderful present.  Now that you’ve received and opened your gift…….Thank the giver again, because the gift is so wonderful!!!!!

It is the same way with praying for people. It isn't anything I do, the words I say etc....
It is simply me yielding to Holy Spirit and letting Him do what He wants to do, Heal! Every healing is different to various degrees.

My last thought is Luke 5:12-13 in this passage Jesus answers one of the most asked questions today. Is it God's Will to heal me? "12 Lord if it is your will, you can make me clean. 13: I will, be thou clean"

Jesus is no respector of persons, He is the same yesterday, today and always. So the answer is the same "I will, be thou clean"!!!! (clean here actually means a complete healing (spirit, soul and body)!!!!

Touching the untouchables!!

                                              Go and make disciple’s
I’m sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee, having read several posts online, by persons that believe atheists are the enemy.  The point of view is that we need to show them how they are wrong, there are many tracts out there that use this point of view.  If you were to die today, where are you going?  We’re on the right side, they are on the wrong side.  So we walk up to someone, and all but say that, accept Jesus or you’re going to eternal punishment.  The motive is usually sincere and said “lovingly”, but that is the wrong approach.  Now, you may get some to pray the prayer of repentence, but their acceptance of Jesus won’t last.  Others are simply put on the defensive.  We need to change our thinking when it comes to saving the lost. It isn’t us vs. them, it’s us with Jesus looking to plunder and take back a child of Father God, the true enemy is the devil, who has blinded the eyes of that person.  As Paul stated this isn’t a war against flesh and blood, but is spiritual warfare, to the pulling down of strongholds.  We are all controlled in one form or another by a spirit, it’s either Holy Spirit or the evil spirits.  We have a protector who guards our minds (when we allow Him to) the non-believer doesn’t, any thought that pops into their head, they accept.  In my case, as a Believer now, I can’t even comprehend why I thought the way I did, for 43 years.  It is because back then, my mind was the enemy’s stronghold.  In the next few lines is an example of a non-believers thoughts when approached by a Believer, don’t try to understand it, or argue against it, just realize this is how a non-believer thinks especially an atheist.

Hi Tony, if you died this moment where are you going?  (I may not say this out loud, but I’m thinking it).  I don’t know, who cares, when I’m dead I’m dead. Time for a beer, I’m gonna get drunk and high outta of my mind.  Unless, you know Jesus you’re going to Hell!  Heaven doesn’t want me and satan is afraid I’ll take hell over.  Party time! (it’s irrelevant that I am still sick from last night’s party).  Just accept Jesus into your heart and repent of your sins, then you’ll be saved.  Ok, I’ll say the stupid prayer just to get this idiot to leave.  (That’s one response) another would be getting offensive and just use inappropriate language, get you offended then you’ll either argue with me, or leave. If you argue with me, then you’re no Christian, you’re just like the world.  I’ll win the argument anyway, because you won’t change my mind, cause I’ll throw things at you, you can’t answer.  Well, if there’s a God, why did my dad die? Why all the misery? (No matter what your answer is I’m not listening)(Another reaction from me) I would just jump on you beat you to a pulp, and ask where your God is now, as you’re bleeding.  (These reactions would be the same whether you’re reading from a tract or at work trying to point out what an awful sinner I am.)  If you’re a co-worker or even an acquaintance and constantly try to talk to me, the minute I see you, I’m ready for you.
You might get me at a moment of weakness, when I just get out of jail and trying to find answers.  I may ask some questions, but nine times outta ten your answers won’t make sense and won’t work for me.  Just keep your focus on Our Lord Jesus, He’ll help you get through it.  When you quit sinning, things will improve, just don’t use drugs anymore.  Read the Bible, God will speak to you.  I’ve read the Bible, ain’t heard nothing.  Quit sinning, are you crazy!!? If I could quit drugs, I would’ve quit a long time ago.  Quit drinking? Hello!!! Do you think I really want to be miserable?  I know it’s hard, but if you set your mind to it, you can quit, with Jesus’ help.  I’ll take you to AA, they can help.  Been there done that, a bunch of people telling me to do this or do that for the rest of my life, no thanks!

Ok, do you get the picture, when I was an atheist I didn’t have rational thoughts and the answers given to me don’t stick.  When I was paralyzed, a man would walk up to me and say “keep your mind on the cross”.  Now it makes sense, but at the time, it was completely over my head.  It made no sense to me.  The words focus on Jesus, once again completely over my head.  No matter how rational a person seems to be, if they aren’t a believer, when it comes to talking about Jesus, their thoughts are not rational.  They have no protection from the dark spiritual forces over their minds. It is like living next to a thief, and leaving the door open when you leave the house, no protection.  He can come and go as he pleases.
Ok, so what is the answer? First, the way we view them.  They are victims, yes the man that kills twenty people is a victim, the drunk driver is a victim.  It is the spiritual forces that controls them, that is the enemy.  Yes, they have to be held accountable for their actions, it isn’t an excuse to escape earthly punishment.  But they are deceived and their minds are not rational.  Jesus, could forgive the one’s that crucified Him, because He knew that.  Paul could forgive himself, because He experienced being deceived, himself.  Remember Saul, did Love God and thought he was defending God, not knowing he was deceived. The followers of Jesus, forgave Paul, how unreal is that?!!  I am forgiven, because I was deceived, I’ve been held accountable for my actions, absolutely!  But I was also a victim of deception.  Those zealous for other religions are deceived, it doesn’t make their actions ok.  But with knowing this, the way we treat them will change, and Holy Spirit can go in and take the scales off of their eyes.  Instead of condemning, realize that it is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. We are witnesses to that goodness, and that is what we have to share. The Love of God.  His Love is what breaks through the deception, not our speaking “lovingly” about how bad sin is!  My wife, (before we were married) was a witness of the Love of God, to me; without preaching to me, without saying what a terrible person I was, without condoning my actions.  The Love of God flowed through her and affected me .   We have Holy Spirit in us, and He wants out, to change the atmosphere around us.  We are to be a peculiar people, and that’s how we are when God’s Love (not ours, His Perfect Love) flows through us.  Jesus stated continue you in My Love, .(John 15:9)to His disciple’s and after they received Holy Spirit, they did just that. If this makes no sense to you, read this. http://trustjesusfavor.blogspot.com/2014/02/being-perfected.html

Just a note: I’m not against AA or any organization that tries to help people.  There are many people that these organizations do help and I’m all for them! The ultimate life changer is truly experiencing the Love of God.

We are in right-standing with The Father, through Jesus!

Romans 3:19-24
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
“19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
Ok now hold that thought, so often people take this out of context. As well as the saying that there is no righteous no, not one.  That every mouth may be stopped and all the world may become guilty before God.  This is all under the Law, without Jesus! Before I accepted Jesus, I was under The Law which is the knowledge of sin and the devil used it to beat me up and almost killed me (literally).  When after 43 years of trying to live life without God’s mercy, forgiveness and righteousness, I was utterly condemned and brought to a place so low, there was only one way to go……….to Jesus! This is what the knowledge of sin and death does, destroy us and then delivers us to the feet of Jesus. Now let’s see what’s next:
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
It is by the faith of Jesus on all that believe.  Being justified freely by His Favor through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. The Law is now done, I have no need for it, it’s done the job that The Father intended it to.  Christ is the end of the law for those that believe in Jesus.  I don’t need it to show me anything else. I just stepped into God’s Favor in the person of Christ Jesus.  Now, no matter where I’m at, I am the righteousness of God, in Christ. Let’s see where I stack up without the Law, using the ten commandments.
·
You shall have no other gods before Me. Living under God’s Favor, I Love Him because He first Loved me.  I know now the Love of God, therefore how could I possibly have anyone before Him?
·  You shall not make idols. Because of His Love, He is first and Last and the only one.
·  You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. Couldn’t even dream of it.
·  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Now I rest in Jesus 7 days a week, relying only on Holy Spirit for all my needs.
·  Honor your father and your mother.
·  You shall not murder.
·  You shall not commit adultery.
·  You shall not steal.
·  You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
·  You shall not covet.
These last six all fall under the commandment of Love. John 15:12 “This is my commandment That ye love one another as I have loved you.”  This is the only commandment we now need, in it the old covenant is fulfilled. If I love everyone I will honor my parents, not kill, not commit adultery, not steal, not lie and not seek what someone else has.  I couldn’t do it before, so how can I do it now? Jesus answers this question is verse 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: Continue you in my love.” 1John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us, God is Love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
We are to dwell in God’s Love

to live or stay as a permanent resident; reside. 2. to live or continue in a given condition or state: to dwell in happiness. 3. to linger over, emphasize, or ponder in .
So we are to stay in His Love for us, that is our base. Then we can give His Love away to others.  While continuing to receive His Love. My focus is now not on my actions, but on HIS.
I can hear someone say, but Jesus said the two greatest commandments are:

Matthew 22:35-41

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The lawyer asked him about the Law and Jesus responded, the New Covenant did not take place until Christ’s blood was shed and He had resurrected. Jesus was under the Law, but then just before His death He replaced all the old laws with one new one. Which covers everything!

Being Perfected

1 John 4:15-17
Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God.
16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.
17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
Some key words here and “we know by observation (scripture) and by experience and believe the love God cherishes for us.”
We are to dwell in His Love, by that we are perfected.  When we live in His Love, then we are perfected.  Many of us are focused on our love for him, that is not stable.  Instead, we need to know His Love for us.  Here’s two earthly examples a baby constantly clings to his parents for love, if the baby is set in a crib, they will cry for more attention.  This is exactly how we are to be. A child nurtured with affection, one that knows he’s loved, grows up maturely and confident. Christians that constantly seek The Fathers’, Son and Holy Spirits’ affection, likewise grows into maturity.

Matthew 18:3

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
and said, “Verily I say unto you, unless ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
What does a child do? They seek the affection of their parents. Especially in the infant stage. They are also humble, meek but most importantly, able to receive love from their parents. In turn, a Christian established in The Love of the Father on a personal level works from the Love of the Father.
Jesus Lived in His Fathers’ Love for Him.  This is where His strength came from, a confidence in His Fathers’ Love for Him.
And lo, a voice came from Heaven, saying, “This Is My Beloved Son, In Whom I Am Well Pleased.”
“Behold My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased: I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles.
While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And behold, a voice out of the cloud, said, “This Is My Beloved Son In Whom I Am Well Pleased. Hear Ye Him!”
This wasn’t just for those around Jesus, it was for Jesus’ benefit as well. In each instance Jesus was about to face a huge experience. In the garden Jesus was highly distressed, why because His Father was about to forsake him. For the first, last and only time Jesus would be without His Fathers’ Love. The Fathers’ answer, to send an angel to strengthen Him.
We love him, because he first loved us.
He first loved us, we felt His love first. Then we give that love back, and He gives us more of His Love, this is a beautiful neverending cycle.  It’s The Fathers’ Love for us that perfects us.  So spend time and I can’t stress this enough, spend time with one verse read it outloud slowly, ponder it, meditate on it. Not casually, but truly seeking The Father.  I suggest a week, ask Holy Spirit for a deep experience of His Love.  I guarantee this will replace fear, with confidence in The Father and will start a change from the inside. The scripture I Love is Romans 8:38-3938 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
One final point, if we can effectively boast about our Love for Him, then it is us that is glorified not The Father, or Jesus or Holy Spirit.  So if we can say, I love the Father so I obey Him, that is taking the Glory for myself.

that no flesh should glory in his presence.
Instead, I can truly state that it is His Love that perfects me, that strengthens me, and gives me the power to do good, not bad.  I am then reliant on deeply knowing His Love for me.

Father God wants us all Healed

This post is a direct response to a certain person, but many think this way, so it applies to all. He states" I feel that praying for anyone should come by the unction of Christ's Holy Spirit with in you. He searches the hearts of all people who come into contact with you at any time. He has Spiritual eye's to see whats happening in other's around us. We cannot see the " thoughts, and intent's " of another person. Like The Holy Spirit can, and when He begins to speak in His Spirit language within your body. He is addressing God about the situation a forehand. And if He addresses you to lay your hands on the sick. They will recover, but if not, they will die. This faith is not ours but His as vested in and through Christ Jesus. Many times prayer is made by human emotion, rather Spiritual unction. And that's where prayer seems futile. The Holy Spirit is given to you to lead you and guide you. But only under the Power associated with God our Father. In Christ Jesus. Laying your hands on the sick to pray, is Bible based. But its functionality is not scriptural y sound. Until you become endowed with immediate instructions from God's Holy Spirit of Christ. Many people fail to understand their position within Christ."

When it comes to laying hands on the sick, we are already instructed what to do.  Jesus showed us in no uncertain terms that anyone that comes to Him seeking healing will be healed.  In fact, Jesus stated it Himself. Luke 5:12-13

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
“12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell onhis face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put forth hishand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.”
God is no respecter of persons, he healed me, he’ll heal anyone. In that scripture, the man knew that Jesus could heal him, but just as today there was/is a question if it was His will.  Notice Jesus’ response, I will! His response is the same today.  The Father does not pick and choose who gets healed and who doesn’t. If that were the case, would Peters’ shadow heal everyone Peter passed by? Or Pauls’ cloth?  No, it wouldn’t.  Now here’s a true example that it’s always His Will.  I was at a Bible study with seven people, I received a word of knowledge for every person except one.  She was under the same misguidance you have, she refused to let me pray for her, because I had no word of knowledge for her.  I simply told her to move the part of her body that was afflicted.  After some hesitation, she did and was healed.  I don’t need a direct word from the Holy Spirit to pray for the sick, I already have His direction to.  Diseases are of the devil, period. It is never God’s desire to see a child of His die pre-maturely.  As is the case of Moses, He will take us home when we have fully completed the purpose for which He made us. Then He doesn’t do it by sickness or disease, or any other inhumane manner.  Mis-information is one reason why people die, pre-maturally.  “My people die for lack of knowledge” Jesus refused to heal only one person, but guess what, He healed the woman’s daughter anyway.  Any person that came to Him was healed.  Two people that didn’t come to Him, were healed as well.  The man at the pool of Bethesda and the man that was born blind from birth. Both were healed.
Praying for the sick, even when Jesus prayed for Lazarus to come forth. He said, this sickness is not unto death, but to the Glory of God. So when you pray, its not of your choosing whether you should pray. The Holy Spirit has set the bar for that operation in Christ. And when you seek God it has to be through Christ's Holy Spirit. Otherwise you will fail and everything will still be lost.  Many people have the wrong concept of what prayer is. They think, when they think to pray for something. That its the Holy Ghost calling them to pray. But in many cases, its habitual. Its mainly by habit and of human emotion. But when you feel the aura of God in Christ working within you with power to pray, then you will see great anointed results, from on high
Many people have no understanding of why Jesus said “but to the Glory of God”.  They take it to mean that God caused this death, for His Glory, so not true.  I won’t fully explain it here but do some study and you’ll find the truth out. Here’s a short version:
Healing was part of the Old Covenant, rabbis prayed for the sick and they were healed except for 4 things Leprosy, the deaf and dumb, blind and raising the dead.  Ask a Jew, they’ll tell you, that the Messiah will perform these 4 miracles.  Anytime a person got on the Pharisees radar, they sent out a group to watch, then to scrutinize their teaching and then to confirm if these four miracles had happened.  This is why in each of these four miracles the healed person was sent to the Pharisees to be examined and questioned.  They had never been done before.  In the case of Lazarus, Jesus had already performed three of the miracles and Lazurus was to be the final miracle, thus proving Jesus to be the Messiah.  That is why the Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to kill Lazuras after his being raised from the dead.  Lazarus’ miracle was for God’s Glory, because it proved that Jesus was the Messiah.  Do some research and you’ll find this is the truth.  Prayer is communion with The Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, not just asking, asking and more asking. It is a true union with all Three Persons’ of the Godhead.  When we have a true union with Them, then we know the truth.  It starts with a deep revelation of The Fathers’ Love for us.  Then we know that He only wants good for us. We are to dwell in His Love for us. 1John 4:15-17 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
The two biggest reasons people don’t get healed, is mis-information.  The other is living in a mixture of the Old and New Covenants, which causes them to fall from God’s Favor which we have through Jesus. Once the Holy Spirit leads us to how they’ve fallen from His Favor/Grace, then they are healed.  Once again it goes back to mis-information. Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace/FAVOR.
It isn’t sin that blocks a healing, it is thinking that we need to do something to receive it, such as get more faith, or repeat a scripture a hundred times, or to be perfect.  Or ask someone to pray for us that thinks God chooses who’s going to be healed. He’s always willing to heal. Now, bring up the Book of Job, that proves God “allows” sickness, murder etc…. I’ve got a post for that also.
