The Reason for Power!!!

This is so good I had to share it. It's by
The end of this age is going to conclude with the ultimate conflict between good and evil, which will be a supernatural conflict. If we are going to be witnesses of the Almighty, we must have power. Paul wrote this concerning his message:

And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom,
but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith
should not rest on the wisdom of men,
but on the power of God (I Corinthians 2:4-5).

For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power
     (I Corinthians 4:20).

Though the conflict is a power conflict, it is not to prove who is stronger. Even the devil knows that God easily wins that battle. The conflict is to provethe power of good over evil, truth over lies, love over selfishness. This is why the discipline required of anyone who would be used by God is so hard. We are called not only to do the right things, but to do them for the right reasons. The Lord does not just want us able to do His works, but He wants us to do them because we are in full agreement with Him.

Motives are crucial because as we read in I Corinthians 13, we can have all knowledge, great prophecy, and even the faith to move mountains, but if we do not have love it does not count! That is why this important chapter on love is placed right in the middle of the greatest exhortation for believers to pursue spiritual gifts.

I have heard many say that we should pursue the Giver and not the gifts, but that is actually contrary to the biblical exhortation. One of the ways in which we pursue the Giver is to pursue spiritual gifts. When Jesus walked the earth He demonstrated His spiritual gifts continually, and if we are going to be used to reveal Him, it must be by more than words—it must be by a demonstration of who He is. When His works are manifested through us and we identify with Him in that way, we are drawn closer to Him.

There are many ways the Lord could have revealed His power. He could have moved mountains, cursed whole forests so that they instantly wilted, or raised up whole forests instantly. He could have preached His sermons standing on water. One of the reasons why the Lord chose healing as a primary way to demonstrate His power is because healing also demonstrates His love.

The main reason the Lord heals is that He does not want people to suffer. He has compassion for the suffering. This is why John G. Lake, who had one of the greatest healing ministries of the twentieth century, would pray for the sick until he felt the compassion of God flow through him for that person. He then knew they were healed. He recognized the healing power of God to be present when he felt His compassion present.

There is not a single case in the Bible where someone came to Jesus for healing or deliverance and was rejected. He healed those who did not even thank Him for it, because love does not require appreciation. Love simply does what it can to help others.

Because every believer is called to be like the Lord and therefore do the works that He did, it should be the goal of every believer to grow in spiritual authority until everyone who comes to them for healing or deliverance is healed and delivered. To do this we must grow in faith, but even more importantly, we must grow in love. We see in Galatians 5:6 that faith works by love. And we read in I Timothy 1:5, "But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith," and in I Corinthians 16:14, "Let all that you do be done in love."

How would our day be different if we did everything today out of love? If we would begin to live this way, not only would our own lives be infinitely richer, power would also start to flow through us. Love releases God's power because love is the reason for the demonstration of His power. Even so, we do not seek love so we can have power, but we need to seek power so we can demonstrate His love.

I have settled in my own heart by the Scriptures that the Lord does want to heal every person who comes to Him for healing, without exception. He wants to heal even if a person does not have perfect motives, or even good motives. He will heal even those who do not intend to serve Him, and will not require someone to give their life to Him before we pray for them to be healed, in accordance to the exhortation of Romans 2:4, "Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?" I think those who are pressured into giving their lives to Jesus so that they can be healed usually backslide quickly, but if they are touched by the kindness of the Lord, it will usually work to bring them to true repentance. Even if it doesn't, the Lord simply loves all people, and He will cause His sun to shine on the just and the unjust.

The reason so many people do not get healed is possibly because we complicate it too much, and try to require things for God's grace that He does not require. I believe that John G. Lake probably understood God's healing power best—it is the Lord's compassion for us, period.

My prayer for you is II Thessalonians 1:11-12:

To this end also we pray for you always that our God may count you worthy
of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith
with power; in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,
and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Part 3 (Evils of this world)

I could write a book on this alone, so this is highly simplified.  Some of it, you’ll have to research on your own.  God created Adam and Eve, and gave dominion of the earth to them ( Genesis 1:28 ).  They sinned, God’s Gifts are without repentance,  He never took dominion back after the original sin.  Mankind’s spirit, was given over to the world of darkness.  The link to God (who is a Spirit) was severed.  However, having dominion over the earth was still retained by mankind. Therefore, God (by His own decree), has to work through mankind, to fulfill His Will.  The devil, has to work through mankind, as well.  I challenge the reader, to find one time in the Old Testament, that God did not work His Will through a person.  Moses had to stretch forth His staff to part the red sea.  Hit the rock three times, for water to come out.  Walk around Jericho everyday for a week and then yell, for it to fall.  Yes, the directive came from God to a person, but the person had to act.  Moses had to command the ten plagues, etc….
The devil  has no power apart from mankind, flesh and blood.  But because mankind’s spirit was turned over to the kingdom of darkness, most of mankind would simply do as the devil commanded.  They had no protection from the devils “fiery darts” of suggestion or possession.  The in-dwelling of Holy Spirit did not happen until Jesus’ resurrection.  In the Old Testament satan, Lucifer and the devil are only mentioned 16 times. In the New Testament 89 times, why? Because until the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit (Being born of the spirit) man had no protection from evil.  The exception was those who the Spirit of God rested upon.  The Biblical hero’s, prophets etc…..Mankind has natural (God given) authority over the earth.  The devil uses that authority to steal, kill and destroy.  This is a point I wish to drive home,  he was the prince of the world, because he could so easily control our actions through our thoughts and for those not In Christ it is the same today.  This is why evil exists and will as long as one person has an unrenewed mind.  We give the devil way to much credit.  Ever wondered why when Jesus cast out legion, they wanted to go into the pigs?  Because flesh and blood pigs has more authority on earth than they do.
Proverbs 4:23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”Psalm 19:14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Matthew 12:34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
All of the above verses speak of how what a man believes and speaks, controls the atmosphere around him. There are a thousand such verses in both the Old and New Testaments.
Now, the Father used those He chose, to accomplish His Will. To bring salvation to us! The prophets of Old prophesied for three main reasons, as proof of Himself, as warnings of what is to come, and to speak into existence the person of Jesus into man (who already existed as THE WORD). In Luke 1:20 Zacharias, was struck dumb, because of his unbelief.  Because his words, could have undone God’s plan. Why is Jesus the Son of God and Son of Man? Because only God could fulfill the task at hand. But because of natural (God given Authority) authority only a Son of Man had the authority to fulfill all the miracles, He was to do. Our Messiah had to know the perfect Will of God, and speak only His Perfect Will, for fulfillment of the Mosiac Law, but had to speak from mankind’s authority to have it done. Jesus won back for mankind; spiritual authority (In His Name).
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.
Matthew 28:17-19Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
In Jesus we now have spiritual authority, we already had authority on earth, but no spiritual authority.  In other words, we had to be given the spiritual authority, by Jesus to loose what is already in Heaven, prosperity, health, healing, all spiritual blessings! And to bind (on earth) what is already bound in Heaven ie…..evil.
I stated all that to be perfectly clear.  Evil existed before the New Covenant, because mankind’s spirit was dead and we had only earthly authority, without the spiritual authority.  Now, Jesus gave us everything we need to abolish evil off of this planet. The problem……….we don’t use it!! We are deceived into thinking that sickness, disease and death are normal. Research in the Old Covenant Abraham’s death, Jacob’s most of the men of God’s deaths.  Scripture states Gave up the ghost! Jesus gave up the ghost!  Death required our permission!  It still does with the exception of persecution for His Name’s Sake.  Sickness and disease under the New Covenant require our permission as well, but we accept these things by 1) Our speech 2)an un-renewed mind 3)by default

Our Speech- James 1:7-9

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
“7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:” Romans 8:6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Being double-minded is speaking with an  unrenewed mind, a mind not in harmony with God’s Will.  Example “I feel a cold coming”, yet asking for healing. Carnally minded, is to only rely on circumstances the physical world/our earthly authority, to believe that sickness is normal and we can do nothing about it. Sin is normal and we are slaves to the world.
To be spiritually minded is: Colossians 3:2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
What is in heaven….God’s Presence/His Spiritual authority is there sickness in heaven……death….evil…..poverty? Then according to Matthew 16:19
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” We now have the spiritual authority to bind what isn’t in heaven and release what is in heaven.  We need to operate from heaven to earth! Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!  This is a mind renewed to the Will of God. Things happen when we speak according to what He is speaking.

We speak from what is in our heart: from what we have fed the inner man. To change our speech, we must change what we feed the inner man!!  Just as important we need to yield to Holy Spirit to change us.
Proverbs 4:23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Psalm 19:14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

What does the majority people feed their inner man? We feed our inner man through our senses what we hear, watch, speak and think.  I will stop at this point, the next topic we will talk about; is this and prayer for healing!

Does Father God Allow Sickness and Disease

This is a huge subject, many people look to the Book of Job and say yes, He does.  In a former post I deal with the Book of Job, which is outstanding and we learn a lot from it.  Here is the link: http://trustjesusfavor.blogspot.com/2014/02/book-of-job-does-god-allow-sickness.html .  Here’s two quick points: Job was from the land of UZ, he wasn’t a Jew, Hebrew, Israelite.  In Old Covenant Times, God dealt differently with man, we were under the curse.  Also, during this time Father God allowed the accuser entrance to His Throne Room.  After Jesus’ Finished work, the devil was defeated and Father God placed Jesus at His right hand  Ephesians 1:20-21 “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named.” Jesus is set at the Fathers’ right hand.  If satan were allowed in the Throne Room, these days, Jesus would not be set above all names, dominion etc.  Here also is another scripture showing this truth. Matthew 16:19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” I think that we can agree that there is no sickness, death, evil in Heaven (therefore no devil).  Matthew 28:18 Jesus declares all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”.
Now then, Jesus is perfect theology and shows us, His Fathers will.  Where did He send a storm, sickness, disease or death?  He never did: Jesus, calmed storms, healed sickness and death and “freed all those oppressed by the devil” (Acts 10:38).  Then ordered us to do the same (Mark 16:15-18).
Let’s agree on three things right now! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).  Acts 10:34 “And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons,”  and lastly John 5:19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”  So Jesus is no respecter of persons, He is the same, always and does only what Father God does. With that in mind, many people ask God if it is His Will to heal them!  I did when I was paralyzed.  That question is one that Father God will never answer. Why?  Because He already did! Luke 5:12-13  here is a summary, the man with leprosy tells Jesus Lord, if it is your will, you can make me clean. This is the same question we ask today. Lord is it your will to heal me? Jesus responds “I will: be thou clean”.  Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and always, He is no respecter of persons, and shows us His Fathers Will!! So the answer is the same today! One note, the word clean is more than a mere healing, it actually means to be fully cleansed (body, soul and spirit)!!
Now, the two verses below are often used to say, that God sends sickness so that He will be glorified.  So not true!  As I stated in the previous post there were four miracles that were reserved for the Messiah.  These are two of them, and are why Jesus stated that the works of God should be made manifest in him. He wasn’t saying that God sent him the blindness!  It was because one of the four miracles was to be fulfilled through this man.
John 9:2-3
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
Likewise, with Lazarus, this was the fourth and final miracle that proved Jesus to be Messiah! This is why after Jesus raised Lazarus, the Pharisees sought to kill Lazarus. God didn’t send this sickness, but Jesus used it to fulfill, the final miracle. That is why He stated but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified!  Another note, Jesus waited four days for a reason, it was considered impossible to raise the dead after 3 days. This is what sets Lazarus’ raising apart from the others. John 11:4
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

Matthew 11:4-6

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Ever wonder why Jesus was so specific when answering John’s disciples and why Jesus took them and showed them His performing the miracles?  He includes the four miracles that only Jesus could fulfill, knowing that John the Baptist, being an Old Testament prophet would know, the four miracles reserved for Messiah!  Ask any Jew, what signs they are looking for Messiah to perform.  The only difference is they are still looking for the signs that we know are already fulfilled. One last thing, when Jesus fulfilled each one of these miracles, Jesus told them to show themselves before the priest at the synagogue.  This system was put into place, so that these miracles which had never been performed could be verified.  The leper, the blind man etc…it was put there when the Mosaic Law was implemented, so they could recognize Messiah.  Now don’t get confused when looking these things up, not all the miracles, Jesus performed are in chronological order, in the scriptures, and experts have verified  this.  Look at the miracles that the Pharisees and Saduccees scrutinized and had harsh words for. These are the miracles only the Messiah could perform.

Now, to tie this all together, In the New Covenant, God does not “allow” sickness.  He gave us Jesus, Who gave us the Fullness of God, In Him, by the Holy Spirit. Matthew  7:911 “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

James 1:17
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The next post will be on why is there so much sickness and disease, if God doesn't allow it!

Healing is for Believers

In my short time as a Believer, I have met many other believers that either don’t believe that God still heals today; or they think that God chooses who gets healed and who doesn’t.  There is also the mis-belief that only certain people can pray for the sick and see them healed.  When we talk about healings, many people envision, tv healing evangelists, where the center of attention is the anointed evangelist.
During my disease the elders of my church, prayed for me three times, after my healing which happened at home. I discovered only one elder, truly believed in healing and that elder, believed that God picks and chooses who gets healed, no wonder I wasn’t healed at church! The preacher himself had never seen a healing. So essentially the prayers I received were riveted with unbelief. It was simply for the sake of fulfilling the scripture that the elders of the church are to anoint the sick with oil.  That they prayed for me, they no more expected me to be healed than they would expect bigfoot to walk into the church.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

They look over the second part of that scripture James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;

This isn’t to bash anyone, but it is about truth.  In a majority of churches calling the sick to the altar is out of formality and not with faith or there isn’t an alter call at all (mainly denominational churches), but only intercerary prayer. Another common  misbelief is that only those in ministry are called to pray for the sick, this is again  only based on the scripture in James.  We as believers are all called to pray for the sick. Mark 16:17-18 “and these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall lay hands on the sick , and they shall recover.  I left two out because they are not part of this discussion.  Shall follow them that believe, this is a command to all Believers, not to a select few.  And it doesn’t say to just pray for, it says to lay hands on the sick and they will recover.  Now there is the Gift of Healing, but for this post I won’t go into the difference between the Gift of Healing and simply praying for the sick and seeing them recover.

Some people believe that healing the sick was intended for just the Apostles, not true.  Jesus, after He had the twelve anointed, He anointed another 70 followers to cast out demons and heal the sick.
Luke 10:1After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” Remember when He did this the New Covenant had not officially began yet. The New Covenant began after Jesus’ blood was shed and He was resurrected. In Matthew 16, this was the beginning of the New Covenant, in which all Believers are responsible for laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover.  Furthermore, healing did not die out with the Apostles.  Everyday followers of Christ healed the sick, until around 300-325 A.D., when the First Council of Nicaea took place. Another, piece of information, that many do not know, is that Under the Old Covenant, healing was a part of it, but was reserved for the priests/rabbis, Jesus wasn’t the first to heal or work miracles. But He was the first to heal four things that were reserved for the Messiah: Leprosy, deaf mute spirit, blind from birth and raising the dead! Hopefully this has started the thinking process, I am going to address this and other questions on healing for the next few posts.

Many Christians are running to Reiki, healing  hands, any of the energy healings etc... before they turn to Christ! These are counterfeit, yet many are innocently turning to these methods of healing. It is time for Believers to stand up.

(The Law) School of Hard Knocks

Grace (God's Favor through Jesus) is not a license to sin, it is freedom to not sin. The Law (ten commandments) is for the lawless, to bring them to Jesus.  But as Believers we no longer have to look to the Law to obey it. We look to the Law of  Love, which Jesus stated a new commandment I give you. Love your neighbor as I have Loved You. This is all encompassing, follow the Law of Love and the Law isn't broken.  Under God's Grace/Favor I don’t have to be told to Love God, not to steal etc... The focus has changed from our actions/The Law to His Love for us.  We Love God, because He first Loved us. Think of the governmental laws. It is against the law to steal, correct?  How many times a day do you think about that law? If  you're a law abiding citizen, then you don't give it any thought. If you're an active thief then it is a constant thought.  Paul explains this next part The Law is Pure and Good, but in Romans he explains that the Law gives occasion(opportunity) to the Law of sin and death. Because the Law has no redemptive power.  A speed limit sign has no power to stop me from speeding. But if cars were manufactured to go only the speed limit, there would be no need for the speed limit signs. In Jesus, we have been re-manufactured to not sin, when we renew our minds and align ourselves with His Thoughts. When we use God's Favor in Jesus appropriately.  This is why Paul stated to not have vain discussions about the Law.

Here's one last way to think about it. There's two signs: one says "Under The Law" the other says Jesus/God's Grace.  We as believers are above the Law, so put the sign underneath you that says "under the Law". Put the sign that says Jesus/God's Grace, now look  up, what do you see, exactly Jesus! Now, since your focus is the Ten Commandments take the sign that says "under the Law" and place that sign directly above you. Now, look up! You just blocked Jesus who is God's Favor to us. You get what you focus on.

Those of us, who have truly, truly been dragged down, by the law of sin and death. Know that our only hope is God's Favor that we have only through Jesus.  Because I cannot obey the law, without God's Favor. With  God's favor, guess what............alcohol  gone......stealing gone......sleeping  around gone........drugs gone....lying gone..............etc…all of  it gone, don't  do it, nor do I need any of it and it wasn't me that changed me.....it was Jesus. So you can wave the Ten Commandments around all you want, The Law did what it was supposed to do, deliver me to the one who earned Our Favor with God.......Jesus:  then He changed me, with little effort or striving on my part!

The Evil that I don't want to do!

Sermon after Sermon deals with the negative, telling us how evil, sin is.  To wake up, and stop sinning.  We get definitions of what lust is, fornication, envy etc… Now, be honest with yourself, during these types of sermons what pictures and thoughts come to mind; during these sermons.  Exactly!  We cannot erase negative acts, with negative teaching.  I will guarantee after listening to one of these sermons, that the majority of people struggle the rest of the week, with temptation on what was preached about.  Still being honest, ask yourself if you know what lust is? Envy? Stealing? Etc….If you’re an adult, then you know what sin is and that we shouldn’t do it.  We do not need to be told, what sin is.  We already know.  Focusing on sin,  only leads to  more sin and to  a Romans  7:15-23 experience.  Here is verse 19 “for the good that I would I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do” Can I get an amen?  What need is there to tell an adulterer that he is sinning? He knows he’s sinning that’s why he hides it. What needs to be preached is solutions, not pointing out sin.  Adding to a negative sermon that we can’t do it on our own, we have the Holy Spirit, inside of us. Isn’t the solution, if we’re still focused on the negative.

Here’s the solution the Law of Love!  Jesus commanded it! John 15:9 “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love” then  he goes further and says in verse 12 “this  is  my commandment that ye love one another, as I have loved you.” It all starts with Jesus’ Love for us, to really know it. Here’s Paul in Ephesians 3:17-19 “that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” We get filled with all the fullness of God, when we know deeper than “head knowledge” Christ’s Love for us.  1 John 4:15-17 John tells us to live/dwell in God’s Love.  It starts with knowing and believing His Love for us, then we have something to share with others.  So how do we accomplish this? We do as Paul states Colossians 3:2

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.
What is in Heaven, Father and Jesus, what are they?  They are Love, so our thoughts should be on Their Love for us.  Look up and Learn about Their Love for  you. There are many scriptures on this Jer. 31:3, John 3:16, John 17:23, John 16:27 Psalm 139:17…….etc. Pick one memorize it, speak it out loud, think about it (ponder/meditate): make it personal for example Jer. 31:3” Father loves me with an everlasting love. I have always been loved by Him.”  Ask Holy Spirit to show you in a physical way His Love for you.  Spend time everyday doing this.  When it is very personal then you are filled with His Love and then your outlook on others changes dramatically, because you know His Love for them.  We can only be tempted with what we think.  So if we’re only focused on His Love for us, then we will only be tempted to show others Love!  It’s the truth, try it!  Also, it is impossible to sin while so focused on HIM!  When living, abiding, focusing  on His Love we then know  without question, that: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”  Confidently, you will then know He wants you healed, saved and delivered.  So let’s move forward and replace the thoughts of negative thinking (not sinning), with the thoughts of God’s Love for us!  I challenge everyone to do this and only positive results will occur.  Then we will walk with all the fullness of God. Then we will walk in power, then when we pray for the sick they will be healed, and delivered and saved!!

God doesn't send us sickness and disease or storms!

To many people have a false notion of what God (In this the New Covenant Era), does and doesn’t do. Some people believe that God sends us diseases, to teach us a lesson.  If that’s the case then don’t go to a doctor when you get sick, you are then sinning, by going against His Will………see how absurd that is?!! What follows is what God's Love for us, is:

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now, the Holy Spirit's definition of Love through Apostle Paul 1 Corinithians 13:4-8 "Love suffers long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seekeths not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never fails." This is the Love of God to all of us. Jesus, is the perfect example of what Love is. If this is true, then it isn't God sending storms, sickness and pre-mature death (In the New Covenant). Yes, He does chastize us, which means to correct and train as a child. But it is in a positive fashion, not negative and certainly not with evil.

Romans 2:4 "or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing the goodness of God leads thee to repentance."

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning!

It is the enemy the one that steals, kills and destroys sending us the diseases, sickness, storms and early death not Our Father. And In Christ Jesus, we have the answer to that!

Please feel free to post a response if you disagree, I only ask that you include scripture to back up your statements. I will happily respond back. Overcoming mis-information, is a passion of mine, especially when it comes to sickness, disease and early death. The only thing not covered by Jesus' Finished work is persecution for His Name sake.
